FULL MOON SACRED FIRE :
 (dates posted here when they are held) COME SHARE THE ELEMENT OF FIRE: "What is it for? What do I do there? What will happen?" These are questions people ask me when I invite them to share in a 'fire circle'. How about pondering this? 'Fire' is the only element of the 4 major elements that humans can create themselves. Why has FIRE been used in magic since ancient times? What is it about FIRE gazing that is so captivating and entrancing? What is a fire keeper? Why did we need them at one time? Do they exist now? Have you ever divined messages from fire? You may not recieve answers to ALL your questions and thoughts in one visit to a sacred FIRE but You WILL learn something about yourself ! You are welcome to put herbs, prayers, prayer bundles, intentions, or sacred thoughts in on fire gathering night. The fire will carry them high into the sky and onto the wind....purge, build, cleanse, intend, release, pray....whatever you choose to do, this fire is open to all. Watch what happens between "fires' once you set your energy into motion ! When possible, please bring a $2.00 donation for our wood fund or...bring some wood! (that was easy!) Your donation also covers tea, coffee, hot chocolate or other beverage. YUM ! * Bring a chair if you wish. We have several, but depending on how many attend, better safe than sorry. My suggestion: bring extra layers of warm clothing as well. The ground (URTH) gets COLD even in the summertime! |

THE ART OF TAROT READING
 So many people have asked for a really comprehensive Tarot class that I have decided to finally offer this course. We will look at the many aspects of the ancient art of Tarot. It's history, mysticism, lure...facts and fiction. How it relates to regular gypsy playing cards, imagery, archetypes, its role in divination, occult, to name a few things... Burning questions you have around how to read, your abilities, etc... I guarentee anyone taking this class will be able to read and apply their skill by the second class, even if at the most base level. There will be time for practicum in class. It would be beneficial if after the first class, you purchase a set of cards which resonates to your liking. We will cover best places to purchase, online options, languages available, visual artwork choices, etc... This is a really FUN & Powerful way to spend your evening out ! and, If you are already moving in your craft, you will still find alot to learn and meet new like- minded friends to practice skills with ! |

THE SHAMANIC STUDIO (tm)  Start date : July 15th 2010 What is Shamanism? Why you should care...and why you should consider this course. Forget Websters poorly written definition of SHAMAN. Apprently he wasn't one. Shaman is a word today that is continuously mis-represented. At its basic core, Shamanism is an ancient pathway connected to nature and ancient forces. It preceeds Paganism and most formal religions. Reading the flight patterns of birds, sensing omens in nature, "hearing" a message from the wind as it brushes your hand (have you EVER stopped to consider WHERE the wind comes from or where it may have been before it touched you?) smelling clouds and tasting fire.... all these simple truths are 'shamanic' in nature. Do you remember a time BEFORE your 5 senses came to be? What can shamanism teach you? How can it enhance your life? One example is to understand how YOU yourself stand, in relation to everything around you. You become more aware of the reality you create and your dance within it. You learn to listen to your internal and external worlds differently. You surrender to the KNOWING that there are more realms in existence than just your physical waking life.   DIVINATION DRUMMING (tm) This drum circle is led by Montreal born musician and percussionist John Michael Sadowski (see 'drum circles' page on this site to find John) and facilitated by his wife Suzanne. This is different than many drum circles in that it encourages 'listening' and 'divining' the messages behind the musical sounds. While it is a new forum for some of us, it actually dates back to some very ancient practices. Come have fun, forget about the outside world for a while and let your spirit run wild while enhancing your psychic 'listening' skills. No musical talent required. Drum speaking is a universal language!!! Bringing your own instrument or shakers is encouraged but not totally necessary. You can jump up and down on your head & go wild if you prefer. Class size & weather depends on an indoors or outdoors adventure. We will also come to your event. Minimum of 5-10 participants creates a soulful experience. This circle is a great way to enhance your 'spirit journey' as an adjunct to the Shamanism & Psychic Development courses, or for higher highs all your own! Divination Drumming is open to all and is $9.00 per person, per circle event. |

Speaking of ultra kewl Drummers, I happened to come upon JEREMY CROW's website totally by accident (is there such a thing?) and I was WOWED by the name of his band and other obvious interests... so, Im posting Jeremy's info here. Even his blogs with mundane details he somehow makes fascinating... PLEASURE THE PRIESTESS has my vote! Oh.. ummm, did I mention the fact he also reads tarot cards??????? (as an 'aside' I just had an amazing reading from Jeremy. I highly recommend one!)  I am the drummer of the band Pleasure The Priestess. We have done several live shows in Toronto, Ontario for the Industrial, Goth and Burlesque/Vaudeville crowds. We have spent the past couple years building on our artistic and production skills as well as incorporating elements of Jungle/DNB into our sound while retaining the darker overtones. Our current project involves exploring the occult journey of initiation through the archetypes of the Tarot. We hope to release this material early in 2010. In an effort to contribute to the online occult community, I created and maintain JeremyCrow.com It is a place where I have archived and published several of my articles on Luciferian and occult theory and practice. I have been seriously involved in the occult for around 14 years and have considered myself specifically Luciferian for the past 8 years. My father taught me how to perform a divination with Tea Leaves when I was around 8 years old. When I was 17 years old I began a study of the Tarot, which I have continued to pursue ever since.  ROUND TABLE CLASS for those already moving heavily with their esoteric work . This will bring together a class of participants who are on a strong walk with regard to their metaphysical path. Be it shamanism, psychic, etc...its all energy and this is a forum to round table the deep stuff. For example we might discuss esoteric issues and challenges you are facing , consider different perceptions, Learn to "Power up" and move into the intangible energies presenting themselves. Recognizing how you stand in relationship to the energy showing up at any given time and realizing your place in that relevance is very important to your success. Class will move in whichever direction the group energy flows, but will certainly be kept focused within the deep work. It can be empowering just to realize there are others of us, experiencing similar events. I like to think of this class as a fast track esoteric therapy class. |
